Why are Hillary Clinton fans such a threat to democracy and free speech?

Berkeley police say they have arrested two people during protests over a speech by a conservative commentator at the University of California, Berkeley.

City police say 20-year-old Hannah Benjamin was arrested Thursday for battery on a police officer and carrying a banned weapon. Meanwhile, 44-year-old Sarah Roark was taken into custody for carrying a banned weapon.

Lock her up.

We wonder if any of Clinton’s slobbering media sycophants will ask her about this?

Interesting, when it’s a liberal they don’t say the banned weapon was in fact a GUN.

Yeah, but in People’s Republic of Berkeley , a ‘banned weapon’ could be an old Bic Crystal Pen. So we do not know how dangerous this person was prepared to be, really. We need more accurate info, you know like when the Press reports about a conservative armed with a Q-16 .50 Cal anti-abortion rifle with a clam-shell holster and a pearl grip, to the kid’s tea party next door.(sourced by unnamed sources 13 months after the fact, will perfect recall.)

Ah, but they wouldn’t be presstitutes if they didn’t leave out critical information.

Per NBC’s Bay Area Affiliate, the “banned weapon” was a large sign (3 1/2 x 5 feet) made of cardboard and paper. Dangerous materials. I mean, they might spontaneously combust, or inflict a paper cut.

    “People’s Republic of Berkeley” indeed.

Disclosure: I have nothing but contempt for the protesters; but this kind of enforcement is what the nanny state leads to.
