“Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that”

This woman may be even more obnoxious that her dopey ex-husband.

While Ivana says she’s not political — “I was born in a Communist country [Czechoslovakia] and I don’t like politics” — she frets that America has lost its prestige. “We have to get it back.”

The first step? Adopting Donald’s immigration policies. “And I’m an immigrant,” Ivana says.

“I have nothing against Mexicans, but if they [come] here — like this 19-year-old, she’s pregnant, she crossed over a wall that’s this high” — Ivana lowers her hand to 4 inches above her wall-to-wall carpeting. “She gives the birth in American hospital, which is for free. The child becomes American automatically. She brings the whole family, she doesn’t pay the taxes, she doesn’t have a job, she gets the housing, she gets the food stamps. Who’s paying? You and me.

“As long as you come here legally and get a proper job . . . we need immigrants. Who’s going to vacuum our living rooms and clean up after us? Americans don’t like to do that.”

She’s really in touch with the average American.

This is being read by a 59-year-old single white male veteran who’s plans for today include:

    Vacuuming the apartment
Shampooing the carpet in the bedroom
Mopping the tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom
    Cleaning the stove
Breaking out the bicycle and cleaning/lubricating it to get it ready for Spring
Breaking down and cleaning a new 12g shotgun in preparation for it’s First Fire tomorrow at the range

    Ivana? Stuff it.

Did my laundry this morning, followed by the weekly grocery shopping. Then took my new Mossberg Maverick™ 88™ 12 gauge out to the range and ran 100 rounds through it. Just got back; letting it cool before I clean it. I’ll probably take a nap, then spend the rest of the afternoon reading and listening to music. And that, Ivana, is how an “average American” spends his weekend.

    Back to work tomorrow.

    Rusty,
    You are awesome!

I’m a 64-year-old widow. Spent my weekend gardening, hauled huge sacks of mulch into the garden, helped my son dismantle metal roofing from a defunct dog run, did laundry, did the dusting, did the weekend shopping, cooked a gourmet Saturday night dinner for friends, finished writing a presentation deck on the hybrid cloud, and finally got some much needed sleep.

Now I’m back to another week at work, cooking dinners, and sundry other chores.

Just doing the work like an American does – every day.
