Trump was out of control in South Carolina debate

Donald Trump was so awful, so horrible, so disgusting in the latest Republican debate — his lies, his distortions, his deceits, and his libels thicker and fouler than they’ve yet been—that he’s done us all a favor. If he wins easily in South Carolina after his monstrous turn, he’ll be going straight to the Republican nomination.

Such a victory in a classically conservative state like South Carolina after his romp in idiosyncratic New Hampshire will prove Trump’s repellent personality is the real key to his success. You want me to delineate his dishonesties? That would be like asking me to count how many breaths he took.

We will not be able to labor under any delusions after a win comparable to his triumph in New Hampshire. We will know for a certainty that the man Republicans want for their tribune in 2016 is a disgusting jerk they somehow believe will have their backs when the only back he’s ever had is his own.

South Carolina, a state filled with evangelicals and active and retired military, just listened to the Republican frontrunner blame George W. Bush for 9/11. And blame him again. And blame him a third time. We’re told the former president has an 87 percent approval rating in the state. So aside from saying something appalling and untrue and unjust, what Trump did would seem politically suicidal, no?

Full story.

“They won’t do it back, and who can blame them. They’re hungry, ambitious, even desperate men—but they still operate according to basic rules of elementary human conduct.”

This comment made your entire premise only so much F’inBS.

The GOPe-DIMe haven’t operated to any “rules” or humanity in 30 or 40 years other than more, I want more, help me get more and I’ll help you get more.

This white capitalist pig pushed grammaw off a cliff so he could taker her land through eminent domain! Once or twice he said a curse word and he also *gasp* made money and built buildings that people actually need and use unlike some government lawyer paper shuffling rat.
How dare he not bow down to that überconservative “journalist” Megyn Kelly at FUX News as she defended Rosie O’ Donnell.
Only globalist Uniparty open border amnesty candidates will do so we must have Jebbie “it’s an act of love” Bush and Hillary “carpetbagger” Clinton and no one else.
Newflash to Yankees in the Boston/DC/NYC Axis-The unwashed masses in flyover country are sick of the Uniparty and the frauds at FUX news.

Wherein a “conservative”, JWF, defends Bush.

Thank you Trump for showing how stupid the GOP is.

Bush was a disaster. Spent like the drunk he once was, let Ted Kennedy write the education programme, didn’t fight the BS going on with the CRA and Fannie/Freddie, never fought back against the media, picked roberts and harriet Miers, created many czars, expanded almost every bureau, they guy WAS establishment GOP, and that is why he must be defended at all costs, right?

    Destroy the damn GOP.

The reason “conservatives” appear to be defending Bush regarding Iraq is that Trump is criticizing FROM THE LEFT! Bush Lied! People Died! Bush Lied! People Died! It’s kind of unnerving hearing this type of rhetoric spewed in a supposed Republican primary (y’know, instead of a Democrat one).

Speaking only for myself, I’d much rather turn the page on the Bush era. It has been a disaster for the party and the country in general. It (in combination with the dishonesty of the media and the continued deterioration of our culture) are responsible for Obama and his ilk.

But I’d much rather nominate an actual Republican to try and fix things rather than support Trump. It’s worth mentioning that it’s much harder to create than it is to destroy. Once you’ve destroyed the GOP (and handed everything over to Democrats in the process), what is your plan for recovery?

    1. Destroy GOP
    2. ???
    3. Profit

Here’s an illustration of what I’m talking about:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-code-pink_us_56c0afbfe4b0c3c55051c763

For those who don’t want give that site any traffic- it’s about Code Pink praising Trump’s comments regarding Bush/Iraq. Here’s one particularly relevant quote:

“Honestly, on this issue, Trump has gone farther than even Bernie Sanders. It was great. I’m not sure it will win him any votes, though. He certainly won’t win over the anti-war crowd with his Islamophobia and anti-immigrant tirades. But on this issue, I’d give him a Pink Badge of Courage,” Benjamin said. “I only wish that the bed was as YUGE as Trump’s bank account. Most of the country should fit in that bed.”

If you “win” with Trump, what is it that you are actually winning?

    Jammie,

No reason to argue this out. It won’t matter. They cannot be reasoned with. Trump supporters are all leftists attempting to take over the Republican party for the left. (that’s why he’s attacking from the left) The can barely string together a coherent sentence. It’s the revenge of the Reagan democrats (or Sith or whatever). If Trump gets in, then the establishment will control both parties and it’s all over for the republic. That’s the point.
