It’s almost as if this lifelong liberal Democrat says anything to bamboozle his idiot cultists, then does the opposite. Anyone notice a pattern with this asshole grifter? Good luck getting any money out of your knuckle-dragging sycophants.
Donald Trump is suggesting that he may welcome outside funds for a general election campaign after months in which he has said he would self-fund a White House bid.
“I think it’s most likely that I will because you’re talking about $1 billion or $1.5 billion,” Trump said in response to a question on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday over whether he’d accept donations.
Since he promised to and then reneged on the promise to release his financial statements and tax returns, nobody has any idea what his actual value is, and clearly he can’t afford to fund himself. Now that his free media will evaporate, good luck getting free airtime, Pumpkinhead.
When a FOX host noted that he had the money to fund his campaign, Trump responded: “I do have it, all I have to do is sell a building.”
Then go do that. Then go fuck yourself.
Trump characterized his pivot to raising large amounts of money from outside donors as part of his desire to “raise a lot of money for the party,” including for Senate and House races.
Trump said during another television interview Wednesday morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he’ll decide “over the next week” whether to accept super-PAC funding.
“I do love self-funding, I don’t want anything for myself. But we do need money for the party,” he said.
Hilarious. The party is dead, so what is he raising money for?
