Gee, this Islamic hatred of gays sounds so familiar, like some other recent event in our memory. Oh well, he was a registered Democrat, so that story, just like Omar Mateen’s wife, quickly disappeared. Now we have another gay-hating creep who just pulled off multiple terror attacks.
The Afghan immigrant suspected of planting bombs in Chelsea and New Jersey was a dead-beat dad who raged against gays, the military and American culture, his high school sweetheart revealed on Monday.
“He would speak often of Western culture and how it was different back home,” Maria told FoxNews.com of bombing suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami, the father of her child. “How there weren’t homosexuals in Afghanistan.
We’ve got news for Rahami: There are gays in Afghanistan. Except they typically keep that to themselves in order to keep their heads attached to their necks.
“One time, he was watching TV with my daughter and a woman in a [military] uniform came on and he told her, ‘That’s the bad person,’” she recalled.
Maria, who believes Rahami was “brainwashed,” said he brought back a wife and another kid when he came back from a trip to Afghanistan nine years ago.
The 28-year-old terror suspect is a naturalized U.S. citizen whose family was granted asylum in 2011.
Rahami made numerous trips to terror hotbeds Afghanistan and Pakistan in the last 10 years, according to Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.).
He became noticeably devout after returning from a visit to his homeland two years ago, friends and law enforcement sources said.
“He had changed. He dressed differently, more religiously, the robe and everything,” Flee Jones, 27, a childhood pal of Rahami, told The Post.
“I really never expected it from him. He was always this fun loving guy, but now he was all quiet. He had found religion. It’s mind blowing.”
If you see something, don’t say shit, apparently. But what difference does it make, since nobody else noticed a damn thing.
Despite the red flags, Rahami wasn’t on any terror watch lists before he became the prime suspect in bombings in New York City and Seaside Park, N.J., includingone that wounded 29 people when it exploded in Chelsea, officials said. The New Jersey bombing targeted a military charity run.
If only someone had notice certain things, but Islamophobia, or something.
Rahimi had a series of escalating run-ins with the law beginning in 2008, when he spent a day in jail for unpaid parking tickets, and another in 2012 after he allegedly violated a restraining order, The New York Times reports. In 2014, Rahami spent three days in jail on weapons and aggravated assault charges, after allegedly stabbing a person in the leg, The New York Times reports. A grand jury dropped Rahami’s charges for the fight, which allegedly began as a domestic dispute.
Rahami’s motive is not yet known. However, one of Rahami’s brothers, Mohammad K. Rahami, posted a jihadi message to Facebook in 2013.
“I bring the men who desire death as ardently as you desire life,” the image made by Ansar Al-Furquan read. The quote is from a companion of the Prophet Muhammad.
Move along, nothing to see here.
