Of course if someone other than one of Bill de Blasio’s flunkies did this there’d be howls of feigned outrage and accusations of racism from leftwing agitators such as de Blasio himself. On the upside, it’s nice for someone to finally stand up to these punks.
A tough-as-nails housing administrator threatened to rough up several Black Lives Matter protesters Thursday as they disrupted a celebratory pre-K address by Mayor de Blasio in Harlem.
Demanding action in the Ramarley Graham NYPD shooting case, the female activists stood up with signs just after de Blasio began speaking at the Sugar Hill Academy preschool.
After reciting their grievances, the protesters were quietly escorted out of the press conference by de Blasio’s security staffers.
But they didn’t escape without an angry earful from Ana-Ofelia Rodriguez, who objected to their staging a protest in the middle of a school packed with young children.
“You girls are going to disrupt our program?” Rodriguez asked incredulously as she trailed the provocateurs down a hallway. “If I saw you on the street, I would kick your ass!”
The activists opted to meekly exit rather than challenge Rodriguez.
See what happens when you stand up to bullies? They slither back under their rocks.
The enforcer’s organization is in the same building as the Harlem school that hosted the press conference and she said she excitedly went to hear the mayor’s remarks.
“This is an event where we are talking about the future of children,” Rodriguez, a Brooklynite who is the director of community development at Broadway Housing Communities, told The Post after the confrontation. “It wasn’t the time for this. There were children in there. As a member of this community I had every right to say what I said.”
It would also be nice if people had the right to dine in peace without these assholes badgering them.
