Anyone notice all the post-election racism is coming from one side? Yeah, we know, liberal racism is redundant.
A senior adviser to Mayor de Blasio recently posted a photo on his Facebook page that had his sister holding a sign that said “F–k Whiteness.”
Lincoln Restler, who is white, in his Nov. 14 post said he snapped the photo as he and his mother “took to the streets to stand in solidarity with immigrant New Yorkers.” He said it was his mother’s birthday.
There were three people in the photo, which City Hall confirmed was Restler‘s parents and sister. Restler‘s father held a sign that read “Black + Brown + Immigrant Lives Matter.”
His mother was holding up a sign that simply said “Love.
But his smiling sister held up a cardboard sign with the words “F–k Whiteness” on it.
Several people who responded on his site took offense.
One Facebook friend called the sign inappropriate. “There are good White People, and you are not going to make me feel guilty that I am,” the man wrote.
A second person wrote: “And you represent our mayors office?”
Restler, who makes $107,625 at City Hall, took the post down. He could not be reached for comment.
Gee, such courage of his convictions.
De Blasio spokesman Eric Phillips said the mayor was not initially aware of the posted picture and doesn’t believe it’s appropriate.
Phillips said Restler’s sister was apparently protesting white supremacy. “No doubt the message was inartful and not clear enough in its intent and that’s why Lincoln took it off his page,” he said.
Restler was spoken to but not sanctioned. “He understands why people took offense to it and it certainly didn’t represent his views,” Phillips said.
This comes after that stooge de Blasio had the audacity to lecture everyone yesterday about not cooperating with Trump and federal laws. We surmise law-abiding Americans won’t be sharing de Blasio’s sentiments.
Here’s a look at this wormy piece of human debris:
