Excuse Grandma if she’s very confused about one of her good friends and longtime generous donor is criticizing her. It’s been a weird cycle.
Newly minted presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday morning attacked his Democratic counterpart Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server while secretary of State.
“She should not be allowed to run in the election,” Trump said during a phone interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
“She should suffer like other people have suffered who have done far less than she has.”
Trump knocked Clinton for her “bad judgment” the morning after his last major rival, Ted Cruz, suspended his campaign, clearing Trump’s path to the GOP nomination.
Trump said Wednesday he’ll be making a decision soon on whether to embrace the support of super-PACs in the general election, after proudly touting a self-funded primary campaign.
“I’m going to be making a decision over the next week,” Trump said. “I do love self-funding and I don’t want anything for myself, but we do need money for the party.”
“Do I want to sell a couple of buildings and self-fund? I don’t know that I want to do that necessarily, but I really won’t be asking for money for myself, I’ll be asking for money for the party,” he said.
The party’s dead. If they need money for anything it’s for the burial and headstone. Let Trump fund that himself, since he killed it. And it is dead, dead, dead.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton leads her Republican counterpart, Donald Trump, by 13 points nationally, according to a poll released early Wednesday.
Clinton leads Trump, 54 to 41 percent, in the CNN/ORC poll completed ahead of Trump’s victory in Indiana on Tuesday night, which secured his title as the presumptive GOP nominee.
It will only get worse now that the media has nominated their candidate, who they’ll now turn on with a vengeance.
