Donald Trump was personally to blame for the collapse of Trump University, claims the college’s top instructor.
James Harris tells Daily Mail Online in an exclusive interview that the leading Republican Presidential candidate exercised ‘bad judgment’ and hired the wrong people to teach at the controversial institution.
He claims he was cheated out of thousands of dollars in unpaid fees and that he plans to sue the billionaire to get it back.
Harris says that voters should not back Trump in the presidential election because he failed in real estate – the area he claims to be an expert in.
There’s still no evidence this orange-faced carnival barker is actually a billionaire since he lies about everything and is hiding his tax returns and financial records.
Trump University has become an embarrassing campaign issue for Trump and is the subject of a $40 million lawsuit in California and a fraud investigation by the New York Attorney General.
Former students claim they were conned out of up to $35,000 for worthless seminars which were designed to get them to put in more money.
The lawsuit states that despite his claims to have handpicked the best real estate minds in the industry Trump did no such thing.
Harris, 47, has emerged as the most visible face of the ‘faculty’ at Trump University, which ran from 2005 to 2010 before it was shut down.
He was hired despite having a felony conviction for assault and for allegedly being so disruptive at his children’s school that it was put into lockdown.
Trump hires only the best people, he always tells us.
An account of one of his Trump University seminars in Florida in 2008 describes how he told the audience that he ended up homeless when his his father walked out and his mother was a drug addict.
Harris’ salvation came when an unnamed mentor scooped him up from a life of poverty and misery – and taught him how to sell real estate.
Speaking to Daily Mail Online Harris reveals that he would be able to clear his name ‘within five minutes’ but that Trump would not get off so lightly.
He says: ‘There’s a lot of things of the Internet with my name attached to them that are false. They’re saying all this s*** about me and it’s all false.
‘Trump University owed me a lot of money when it shut down… I made them millions and millions of dollars.
Get in line, pal.
