Curiously enough, he didn’t check into a Cuban hospital.
Filmmaker Michael Moore is in an intensive-care unit with pneumonia, he said Thursday through his verified Twitter account.
Moore has has taken an active role in protesting the water crisis in Flint, Mich., and his new film, Where to Invade Next, is set for limited release Feb. 12 in the United States. In the tweet, the Flint native mentions these and election work as leading up to his illness but did not say where he was hospitalized.
Probably to ward off all the well-wishers.
@MMFlint So will you be seeking health care in Cuba or Canada? I recall your opinion of U.S. health care being rather low….
