Well, she’s right.
Is Sean Penn a “communist a - - hole”? Actress Maria Conchita Alonso thinks so.
The former beauty queen, whose credits include “Moscow on the Hudson” and “The Running Man,” is bleeped out in a Reelz special airing Thursday, “El Chapo & Sean Penn: Bungle in the Jungle.”
The documentary has exclusive details about Penn’s liaison with the fugitive drug lord. But the most compelling part may be Alonso’s recollection of confronting Penn at baggage claim in LAX about his chummy meeting with Venezuela’s then-president Hugo Chávez.
Alonso’s family fled Cuba in 1962 after Castro’s Communist revolution, and she grew up in Venezuela and became an ardent foe of Penn’s dictatorial friend Chávez.
Picking up her mother at the LA’s airport, she spotted Penn waiting for his suitcases. “So I said to him, ‘It must be great growing up as a communist growing up where you did.’ One thing led to the other one. He called me a pig and I called him a communist a - - hole!
So nice of the communist asshole to call a woman a “pig.”
