Team Pantsuit Unloads on ‘Traitor’ de Blasio

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reacts as she is introduced before speaking at a campaign event for U.S. Senator Kay Hagan in Charlotte

While the media is busy trying to prop up this vile woman and portray her as a softie grandmother, the reality is if you cross her you’re pretty much dead. Just ask the stooge mayor of New York, who today finds himself on the Hillary shit list.

You don’t have to be Jewish to be amazed at the chutzpah behind the charges of “traitor” Hillary Clinton’s supporters are firing at Mayor de Blasio. Given Clinton’s long record of infidelity to truth, a little humility is in order.

But the Clinton sense of entitlement is nothing if not insufferably consistent. She claims she’s not running for president on inevitability, then her enforcers immediately denounce the one significant Democrat who refuses to salute her.

The aim is to isolate the target and personalize the attacks to deter others. Bill Clinton famously denounced the tactic as “the politics of personal destruction,” but his wife is a skilled practitioner and her intolerance for dissent is legendary.

So “traitor” Bill gets both barrels, with one insider telling me “she will never forgive him” and others suggesting Gotham is screwed if she becomes president. The episode reminds that the Clintons demand everything from others and give nothing of themselves.

She’s so warm and fuzzy. Hey look, there she is at Chipotle buying a burrito bowl! Isn’t it wonderful? Hey, there’s the Scooby Van! Isn’t it awesome?!?

Don’t get me wrong — I see de Blasio as way off base with his ideas, and remain convinced he will make schools worse, streets more dangerous and the city less welcoming for families and jobs. But you can’t deny he is a true believer.

This is a man who spent his honeymoon on an illegal trip to Communist Cuba and embraced the violent, far-left Sandinistas in Nicaragua. His family history suggests he was a “red-diaper baby.”

It doesn’t take a leap, then, to conclude that de Blasio would love to see Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who mirrors his leftist passions, challenge Clinton for the nomination. Warren, a Massachusetts Dem, has said no, and de Blasio can’t publicly urge her to jump in. But he buys time and does the closest thing by refusing to hail a Clinton coronation.

Some wigged-out Clintonites are accusing de Blasio of being inconsistent because he immediately supported Gov. Cuomo’s re-election and midwifed the Working Families Party’s reluctant endorsement of Cuomo.

We could care less if they drive a steamroller over de Blasio. Just don’t expect a peep from the media about Democrat “civil wars” or anything about party infighting. They save that crap for Republicans, and delight in using it against them. No time for that during the early stages of the Clinton Coronation.
