Look, we all understand Rolling Stone isn’t exactly reputable these days, but they did quote him. So how is that “disgusting” editing? Not only that this story has been out there nearly 24 hours and only now he’s whining about it? Man up and own it.
Donald Trump is going after Rolling Stone in the latest of a series of attacks against the media, saying the magazine’s editors added “a lot of garish stuff” to a controversial interview.
Trump said on Thursday that the author of the interview called to apologize for the way it was edited.
“The writer actually called me and said ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ – he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.”
Maybe it’s just us, but we don’t believe that for a second.
Trump conceded the piece had moments of “beauty” and “greatness,” noting that the “photographer was good.”
Oh, so the article was great, except the parts that make him look like a complete asshole. Got it.
The GOP primary front-runner has drawn criticism for comments he made about former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina in the Rolling Stone interview.
“Look at that face!” Trump said of Fiorina in the interview. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”
He’s so pathetic.
Maybe the problem is you're stupid enough to talk to Rolling Stone https://t.co/PJOatXpEn3
