Obama Claims People Dislike Him Because He’s ‘Different’ or Something

He’s right. He’s different than presidents preceding him because he openly hates the United States. Remind us, wasn’t this clown supposed to be on vacation? Why the sudden media blitz?

President Obama has suggested that some critics have attacked him because he’s the first black president, and he accused Donald Trump of “exploiting” blue-collar fears.

Because Obama would never exploit fears … oh my God , global warming!!!

“If you are referring to specific strains in the Republican Party that suggest that somehow I’m different, I’m Muslim, I’m disloyal to the country, etcetera — which, unfortunately, is pretty far out there and gets some traction in certain pockets of the Republican Party, and that have been articulated by some of their elected officials — what I’d say there is that that’s probably pretty specific to me, and who I am and my background,” he said.

You ever notice he’s the only one who ever  brings the Muslim thing up?

One “legitimate” criticism, he said, was of his failure to communicate his efforts to combat terror.

“We haven’t on a regular basis, I think, described all the work that we’ve been doing for more than a year now to defeat ISIL,” he said.

He’s got time to do this interview, traipse around Alaska with Bear Grylls, do comedy schtick with Jerry Seinfeld and golf around the clock, but no time to “communicate” his total lack of strategy to combat terrorism. And he’s baffled why people hate him.

This is kind of clever, in a way. The president says that much of the unhappiness with his administration is “pretty specific to me, and who I am and my background,” which is slippery in that by saying it’s about him, he’s really saying it’s about his critics, and their bigotry and prejudice. “It’s not me, it’s you.”

This is, needless to say, intellectual dishonesty, which is Barack Obama’s specialty. Yes, there are racists in the world, and they are engaged in politics, mainly in the form of basement-dwelling losers with Dungeons & Dragons avatars oinking about on Twitter. They are a significant consideration if you are Donald Trump’s psephological engineers. They are not much of a real factor if you are Barack Obama wondering why you haven’t been celebrated like one of the men on Mount Rushmore.
