It’s Come to This: ‘Climate change is sexist’

These lunatics become more hysterical by the day, they just don’t realize everyone is laughing at them.

Global warming will inflict far more suffering on women than men because they are more vulnerable to the floods, droughts and diseases that are expected to increase as the climate changes.

Climate change’s gender discrimination will be far more pronounced in those swaths of the poorer, developing world where sexual inequality is typically much greater, leading academics have told the i paper.

Women in poorer countries tend to be more vulnerable because, when disaster strikes, social structures mean they are far more likely to be in the home cooking, cleaning or looking after others, putting them at greater risk from collapsing buildings.

When has so-called climate change actually led to collapsing buildings? This is madness.

In the most extreme cases of disasters in patriarchal societies, women may be unable to leave the house without a male companion.

“Climate change makes all of the very big and complex problems that exist in the world today a whole lot worse,” said Professor Hilary Bambrick, of Western Sydney University, who points out that 90 per cent of the 150,000 people killed in the 1991 Bangladesh cyclone were women.

So a cyclone 24 years ago in Bangladesh was caused by global warming? This is beyond idiotic.

    This, by itself, is “sexist”.

I suppose that propane “cooking accidents”, a favorite for ‘honor killing’, are also part of Climate Change fatalities.

Climate Change Kills the Mood: Economists Warn of Less Sex on a Warmer Planet

Climate change has been blamed for many things over the years. Never, until now, has anyone thought it was possible to see it as a kind of contraceptive.

Hot weather leads to diminished “coital frequency,” according to a new working paper put out by the National Bureau of Economic Research. Three economists studied 80 years of U.S. fertility and temperature data and found that when it’s hotter than 80 degrees F, a large decline in births follows within 10 months. Would-be parents tend not to make up for lost time in subsequent, cooler months.

An extra “hot day” (the economists use quotation marks with the phrase) leads to a 0.4 percent drop in birth rates nine months later, or 1,165 fewer deliveries across the U.S. A rebound in subsequent months makes up just 32 percent of the gap.
