‘It will be a crime if she knowingly withholds documents pursuant to subpoena’

As Hillary Clinton’s latest scandal enters Week 2, it doesn’t appear as if the story is going away any time soon.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on Sunday suggested that Hillary Clinton could face criminal charges if she knowingly withholds emails from congressional investigators.

Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Issa noted that “voluntary cooperation does not guarantee that it’s a crime not to deliver all” requested emails.

“A subpoena, which Trey Gowdy issued, is so that in fact it will be a crime if she knowingly withholds documents pursuant to subpoena,” Issa said.

The former House Oversight Committee chairman issued three subpoenas related to the 2012 Benghazi attacks, he said, acknowledging the House Select Committee on Benghazi last week subpoenaed all of Clinton’s emails during her tenure as secretary of State.

Clinton last week called on the State Department to release the 55,000 pages of her emails that she self-selected and turned over. State has turned over about 900 pages to the committee.

Issa argued that Clinton “wasn’t forthcoming two and a half years ago.”

“She, in fact, hid the very existence of this until she was caught,” Issa said.

Ironically one of her famous Twitter photos captured her on a trip to Libya, yet now all her emails from that time have disappeared, as has the photo.

How convenient.

Huge gaps exist in the emails former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has provided to a congressional committee investigating the 2012 attack on a U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the panel’s chairman said on Sunday.

Republican Representative Trey Gowdy said his committee lacked documentation from Clinton’s trip to Libya after the attack despite a popular photo image of her using a handheld device during a flight to that country.

“We have no emails from that day. In fact we have no emails from that trip,” said Gowdy, who heads the committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. “There are huge gaps.”

Widely considered the frontrunner for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, Clinton used a private email account for all official business as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state from 2009 to 2013.

Republicans have scrutinized Clinton’s actions over the Benghazi attack in which Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other people were killed. The private email disclosure, published in The New York Times last week, raised Republican concerns about Clinton’s commitment to transparency.

She has since asked the State Department to release her emails but a State Department official said the review would take some time.

Trey Gowdy should be prepared for the Clinton goon squads.

The chairman of the House committee investigating the attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans on Sept. 11, 2012, said there are “huge gaps” in the Hillary Rodham Clinton e-mails turned over to his panel.
“We don’t have all of them,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
Included in the gaps are e-mails from Oct. 18, 2011, the date of the well-known photo of then-Secretary of State Clinton wearing sunglasses and gripping her BlackBerry while on a plane to Libya.
In fact, there were no e-mails released to the committee from that entire trip, Gowdy said.“It strains credibility to believe that if you’re on your way to Libya to discuss Libyan policy, that there’s not a single document that’s been turned
over to Congress,” said Gowdy, who issued subpoenas last week for Clinton’s Libya e-mails.

Indeed, it does.

“..wasn’t forthcoming two and a half years ago..” How about any time this grafter was involved with our Republic.

She speaks about human rights for women and pockets money from Saudi Arabia for the Clinton Foundation.

In a perfect world this person should be wearing an orange pantsuit with prison numbers.

You mean it requires the “willing suspension of disbelief” to think that Hillary! might not have turned over all relevant information in response to a subpoena?

Did anyone look in the closet where the Whitewater records eventually showed up? I’ll bet the missing documents are there, they obviously just got lost in transit.

It doesn’t mean a damn thing till someone goes to prison.

And since they are all in the same bunch of ball-licking backslappers nobody is going to prison.

So it doesn’t mean a damn thing.

    “Follow the money………..!”

6 billion mission dollars from the state department; as reported by the IG.
“Pay to Play” scandals involved in these e-mail
Millions given to Hillary’s brother to be used starting a company in Haiti.

Lastly – Huma’s e-mail also are part of this scandal – the many MB employees of the Clinton foundation play a role in that!

The solicitation of funds from different middle eastern countries are also a conflict of interest.

Put it all together and one will understand that none of the private e-mail server e-mails wil ever surface!
