If there’s any war Obama will be OK with after this it’ll be the War on Tulsi Gabbard. Honestly, we’re at a loss trying to figure out why this woman is still a Democrat.
A Hawaii Representative has warned the US government that President Barack Obama’s decision to put American fighter jets that can ‘target Russian planes’ on the border between Turkey and Syria could start a ‘devastating nuclear war’.
Democratic Rep Tulsi Gabbard’s comments came after Defense Secretary Ashton Carter told Congress on Tuesday that the United States is sending additional special operations ground forces to Iraq in its ongoing fight against the Islamic State terrorists.
Gabbard said the fighter jets, along with Obama’s opposition to Russian-backed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, could lead to a nuclear war.
‘Russia’s installation of their anti-aircraft missile-defense system increases that possibility of – whether it’s intentional or even an accidental event – where one side may shoot down the other side’s plane,’ she told Carter, according to the National Review.
‘And that’s really where the potential is for this devastating nuclear war,’ she added.
Carter claimed that Russia is not a military danger to the United States, but that the countries’ disagreements come down to diplomacy problems.
‘We have a different view, a very different view from Russia about what would be constructive for them to do in Syria,” he said. “That’s not the same as the United States and Russia clashing.’
Meanwhile, in what should be the top story across the nation today, Obama’s primary aim in 2012 was covering up the spread of radical Islamic terrorism to help get himself re-elected. There used to be a time when there would be calls for his resignation after this revelation, but Democrats just don’t care for the most part and a lot of Republicans need to locate their testicles.
President Barack Obama’s former top military intelligence official said Tuesday that the White House ignored reports prefacing the rise of ISIS in 2011 and 2012 because they did not fit its re-election “narrative.”
“I think that they did not meet a narrative the White House needed. And I’ll be very candid with you, they just didn’t,” retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, the former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “The Lead.”
Flynn, who has been critical of both Obama’s and former President George W. Bush’s handling of the Iraq War and involvement in the Middle East, said that Obama was served poorly by a small circle of advisers who were worried about his re-election prospects at the time.
The story they needed to tell, he said, was that pulling troops from Iraq would not leave the region vulnerable to the rise of a radical Islamic group like ISIS.
“I think the narrative was that al Qaeda was on the run, and (Osama) bin Laden was dead. … They’re dead and these guys are, we’ve beaten them,” Flynn said — but the problem was that no matter how many terrorist leaders they killed, they “continue to just multiply.”
Remarkably, this dangerously incompetent moron yesterday compared so-called “global warming” to ISIS.
President Obama compared global warming to ISIS in remarks made during a press conference in France Tuesday.
“I think we’re going to solve it,” Obama said about climate change.
“I think the issue is just going to be the pace and how much damage is done before we are able to fully apply the brakes.
“And in some ways, it’s akin to the problem of terrorism and ISIL. In the immediate aftermath of a terrible attack like happened here in Paris, sometimes it’s natural for people to despair.”
Are there any adults left in the Democratic Party, other than Gabbard, who will say enough is enough?
