The deranged left is desperate to call this lunatic a pro-life Republican, but some facts are intervening with that narrative.
7:55 a.m. UPDATE
ABC News has reported that Robert Dear is being held without bond as he awaits his first court appearance scheduled for Monday.
Jail records didn’t list charges but showed him being held on two administrative holds, ABC reported.
7:30 a.m. UPDATE
The Colorado Springs Police Department confirms that the items brought to the scene by the suspect have been secured, and processed items are no longer a threat.
7:16 a.m. UPDATE
Colorado Springs police issue a notice that those who had to leave their vehicles in the King Soopers parking lot Friday night are now able to retrieve them.
Snowplows were brought to the area Saturday morning to make it easier to move the snow-covered cars.
The scene at the Planned Parenthood center Saturday morning was busy: law enforcement officials and about 12 television crews, but all businesses are closed.
This sure does add an odd wrinkle to things.

So it’s either a clerical error or he thinks he’s a woman. Very strange. Undeterred by a lack of facts, King Putt weighed in this morning:
Pres Obama this morning laments the gun violence yesterday in Colorado Springs. "This is not normal. We can't let become normal."

That’s helpful. Oddly, he had no comment on this:
Five people were shot in four locations in southeast D.C., all within 90 minutes of each other. https://t.co/RV4R3LzCg1

The man who police say attacked a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado had lived part of the time in a cabin with no electricity or running water in the North Carolina mountains.
His neighbors in Black Mountain said Robert Lewis Dear kept mostly to himself. But James Russell said when Dear did talk, it was a rambling combination of a number of topics that didn’t make sense together and he tended to avoid eye contact.
Two topics Russell said he never heard Dear talk about were religion or abortion.
Dear’s cabin was a half-mile up a curvy dirt road about 15 miles west of Asheville. A cross made of twigs was nailed to the wall of the pale yellow shack on Saturday.
Dear also spent time in a house in the nearby town of Swannanoa.
There’s still no evidence he “attacked” the PP office, but rather was just holed up there.
