Probably just doing some reconnaissance for their terrorist pals.

French police arrested three al-Jazeera TV journalists on Wednesday for allegedly flying drones from a park on the edge of Paris, law enforcement sources said.

The arrests follow a series of drone sightings, hovering over Paris landmarks for two consecutive days.

“The first was piloting the drone, the second was filming and the third was watching,” a judicial source told Agence France-Presse.

The three were nabbed at Bois de Boulogne, a park on the western end of Paris.

The suspects’ names and nationalities were not immediately known but they were three men, 34, 52 and 68.

Operating drones over the French capital at night is against the law and these sighting comes at at an incredibly tense time Paris.

Sixteen people were killed during twin attacks on the satirical weekly Charlie Hedboand a kosher supermarket last month.

Parisian officials said Wednesday that witnesses and security forces reported at least five sightings of unmanned aerial devices between midnight and 6 a.m. over sensitive and well-known sites across the city, AFP reported.

These clowns are to journalism what Democrats are to governance.

While officials have said the drones currently pose no threat, French authorities were eager to get to the bottom of the matter.

“Is it a game? Scouting for future operations? The investigation will show us,” a Parisian police chief told AFP.

So their names were not released, eh? I’ll take a wild guess that it’s not Jaques or Henri, but 3 Guys Named Mo.
