Van Jones: “Ebola thing is the best argument you can make for the kind of government that we believe in”

Alrighty then, the Democrats may have found an issue to run on for the midterms. Ebola! Now what hasn’t anyone thought of this already?

It appears as though former Obama official Van Jones has taken Rahm Emmanuel’s belief that you never “want a good crisis go to waste” to heart during a Sunday appearance on ABC’s This Week w/ George Stephanopoulos. During a panel discussion on the upcoming midterm elections, Jones suggested that Democrats should point out that the “Ebola thing is the best argument you can make for the kind of government that we believe in.”

Oh yeah, a government that can’t build a functioning website can use Ebola to make us believe in government? The crazy is off the charts with this one.

We can’t let the Republicans get away with some of the stuff they’re doing this week, just trying to bash Obama. Hey, you know, government is always your enemy until you need a friend. This Ebola thing is the best argument you can make for the kind of government that we believe in.

Please, Democrats, take his advice and run with this.

Since leftists tend to ignore individual rights and strive for a ‘One Size Fits All’ solution for everything, the logical ‘Progressive’ answer here should be obvious:

“The only way to treat everyone ‘equal’ is to infect ever American with Ebola.”

Yeah, then it’s your friend – you know, the one who slept with your girlfriend while you were away at your grandfather’s funeral. Yeah, that friend.

Obola’s policies are on every ballot this election. Let’s make sure every voter knows that.

BTW Obola-Care’s website still doesn’t function and is still full of security holes.

Hey, you know, government is always your enemy until you need a friend. <– the kind of friend who takes your money at gunpoint and gives it to people who hate you, invites strangers to come live in your house and help themselves to your stuff, won't protect you from criminals roaming the neighborhood, and calls you a big giant hater if you object to any of it. What a friend!

Isn’t he the guy who said that our “founders” endowed us with certain inalienable rights, etc.?

    Don’t want to offend atheists?
