Can’t wait for Obama’s victory lap.
The August jobs report was a big miss.
Nonfarm payrolls grew by 142,000 in August, and the unemployment rate fell to 6.1%, according to the latest release from the BLS.
Expectations were for nonfarm payrolls to grow by 230,000, though the unemployment rate falling to 6.1% from 6.2% was in-line with expectations.
Wage growth was in-line with expectations, as wages grew 2.1% year-over-year, and 0.2% month-over-month.
Time to party, yo!
