It’s All About The O: “We questioned authority”

Posted by on Feb 25, 2014 at 10:44 am

As you’re well aware, Hollywood actor and director Harold Ramis passed away Monday. So obviously it’s all about Obama:

Not to be outdone by that maudlin nonsense, Obama chimes in with this:

President Obama on Tuesday hailed longtime comedic actor, director and writer Harold Ramis as one of “America’s great satirists.”

“When we watched his movies – from ‘Animal House’ and ‘Caddyshack’ to ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Groundhog Day’ – we didn’t just laugh until it hurt,” Obama said in a statement. “We questioned authority. We identified with the outsider. We rooted for the underdog. And through it all, we never lost our faith in happy endings.”

Ironic how he spends more time talking about a late actor than he does about the Ukraine or Venezuela, where they really are questioning authority.

Funny how when Americans now question Obama they’re ridiculed and subject to IRS harassment.

Update: This is actually posted on the White House Twitter feed. Know what isn’t mentioned there? Venezuela or Ukraine. Priorities.

“And through it all, we never lost our faith in happy endings.”

Have truer words been spoken by Obama??? We would have to consult Reggie Love to confirm…..LOL.

and Ghostbusters showed the true magnificence and benevolent administration of bureaucratic justice: “yes, it’s true, this man has no dick” . I never saw his politics in his movies. That’s all I ask in an artist. RIP Harold

“I’ll also always appreciate him as a very early supporter of @BarackObama.”

The Left: All politics, all the time.

“We question authority”? Really? Is there a sarcasm hashtag that I missed?

O is the “authority” that he is telling us to question, and when we actually do question him… he sends his attack dogs after us.
