Well, the song might have made you happy, but you should have waited to stop the car before posting it on Facebook. Maybe we should ban Facebook.
A North Carolina woman died behind the wheel just moments after posting a Facebook message and hitting a truck head-on.
Police say Courtney Ann Sanford texted Facebook at 8:33 a.m. Thursday. One minute later, a call came in about a car crash.
Sanford was apparently referring to the hit Pharrell Williams song when she wrote “The happy song makes me HAPPY.”“In a matter of seconds, a life was over just so she could notify some friends that she was happy,” said High Point Police Lt. Chris Weisner, according to WGHB-TV.
The 32-year-old woman died after drifting across a grass median and slamming into a truck.
