Some New Yorkers who spoke with NY1 say they’re not really worried.
“It’s not something I don’t fear it’s just something I don’t think about. It’s definitely real scary if a nuke dropped on Manhattan, but it’s just not a very immediate, present threat in my mind,” said one New Yorker.
“I’m an ex-veteran, I’m a veteran, so I feel pretty secure about our defense system in taking out any nuclear threat, and I think he should be worried about getting impeached sooner than getting hit with a nuke,” noted another New Yorker.
Ouch. Following his idiocy, his handlers helped bail him out.
After the president’s remarks, the White House made it clear that he was giving an example of something he fears and was not responding to any specific threat against the city.
He more fears his wife, if anything.
