“I said the President was my longtime friend and then he said ‘your friend is an asshole’ “

Let’s give a rousing applause to Mr. Steve Wynn.

George Clooney and Steve Wynn recently learned there really are some things you shouldn’t bring up at the dinner table.

During a glitzy dinner in Las Vegas two weeks ago, the actor, 52, and hotel magnate, 72, got into a tiff over politics, specifically, President Obama.

“He called the president an asshole … that is a fact … I said the President was my longtime friend and then he said ‘your friend is an asshole.’ … At that point I told Steve that HE was an asshole and I wasn’t going to sit at his table while he was being such a jackass,” Clooney told the Las Vegas Review Journal in an email sent via his publicist.

But according to the “Monuments Men” star, who claims he left immediately following the altercation, it wasn’t Wynn’s political beliefs that disgusted him so.

“It had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with character,” the actor added.

True, he’s an asshole who lacks character. Sounds like Clooney’s just a drunekn asshole:

Wynn, a noted Obama critic, also called into question just how close the actor and president really are.

“When he’s drinking, he considers himself a close personal buddy of the president,” he said.

I must disagree. An asshole has a specific, useful, biological function, necessary to a normal, healthy life.
On the other hand, the actions of Obama and his minions cause pain and suffering to untold millions of people throughout the world, not just here in the USA.

Steve Wynn started in a bingo hall in Atlantic City. It was a family business. Fifty years later, he’s built a huge business that’s competing against all comers internationally. You think Las Vegas is tough? Try Macao.
When it comes to judging character, I think I’ll take Steve Wynn every time.

    Old joke:

The different organs of a man’s body were arguing which should be the leader. The brain argued that since it was the center of all thought and intelligence, it should be the leader. The heart said that since it pumped the blood that made life possible, it should be the leader. And so it went through all the organs, each claiming why it should be the leader. Finally, the asshole simply said it should be the leader and didn’t give a reason. The other organs laughed. So the asshole refused to open to allow any waste to pass. The toxins built up in the body and eventually, the other organs surrendered and proclaimed the asshole as their leader.

The moral of the story is simple. You don’t have to be strong or smart to be a leader, just an asshole.

Obama is a ‘close personal friend’ because he needs Clooney- Clooney’s money and access and publicity.
