How Helpful: After Fomenting Unrest in Ferguson, Holder Talks of the Need for “Nonviolence”

So nice of the nation’s leading law enforcement officer. Instead of he and Obama warning people not to riot, he’s suggests people try to control themselves after they don’t get what they want.

Attorney General Eric Holder on Friday talked of the need for “nonviolence” ahead of a grand jury decision on the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo.

Why is nonviolence in quotes? Perhaps the reporter isn’t buying his bullshit?

Holder did not specifically mention Brown or Ferguson in a video statement released Friday, instead issuing what he said is “new guidance to law enforcement officers about how to approach maintaining order during First Amendment-protected events.”

“History has also shown us that the most successful and enduring movements for change are those that adhere to non-aggression and nonviolence,” he said.

It was not immediately clear what was contained in Holder’s guidance — or what constituted new material.

Holder said the guidance “encourages law enforcement officials, in every jurisdiction, to work with the communities they serve to minimize needless confrontation.”

Who are the people seeking confrontation?

Students at Saint Louis University were handed a communist leaflet as they walked between classes Wednesday afternoon that declared “if the murdering pig walks, AMERIKKKA must be brought to a halt.”

The leaflet was distributed by two individuals associated with the Revolutionary Communist Party on Grand Boulevard, a busy street that intersects with the university’s quad and splits the two ends of the urban campus.

“If the decision is announced at night, the next day should be a day of NO BUSINESS AS USUAL at schools,” the leaflet stated. “Buildings on campus should be taken over, classes should become teach-ins on police murder of Black people. All this and more should be done.”

Buildings should be taken over? Why, that reminds us:

As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university’s Black Students’ Organization as “armed,” The Daily Caller has learned.

Of course, Team Obama is praying for massive unrest so he can then swoop in and play the so-called peacemaker. Anything to distract from his endless scandals.

Update: Maybe Holder can have a chat with this ugly mob.

Protesters in Ferguson, Mo., have taken to the streets and chosen not to wait for a grand jury’s decision before clashing with police once again. A grand jury is expected to decide whether to indict police officer Darren Wilson, who is accused of shooting 18-year-old Michael Brown, in the coming days. But protesters made their voices heard outside the Ferguson Police Department on Thursday night shouting, “What do we want? Darren Wilson! How do we want him? Dead!”

Sound like Al Sharpton fans.
