I’m so old I can remember when Syria was the biggest item on Obama’s agenda. Heck, he even stopped golfing and gave a big primetime speech about it. Then he discovered the minimum wage and so-called inequality, or something and it disappeared from his agenda.
Move along, folks, nothing to see here.
Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said Friday Syria has become an issue of homeland security for the United States.
The new head of DHS returned Thursday night after a two-day trip to Poland with Attorney General Eric Holder.
Johnson said he and Holder met with six of Johnson’s counterparts from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Poland.
“Syria was the number one topic of conversation for them and for us. Syria has become a matter of Homeland Security,” Johnson said Friday at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C., where he laid out his agenda.
Maybe someone should brief the imbecile in the White House before he reads about it in the papers. Even his bumbling Secretary of State realizes what a failure it is. About time someone let Obama know.
