Delusional Obama: Foreign Policy Views Not Always ‘Sexy,’ But They Avoid ‘Errors’

U.S. President Barack Obama smiles as he talks with Pope Francis during a private audience at the Vatican City

What can you make of such an idiotic statement? We flummoxed to think of a single foreign policy success from his team of incompetents, led by him, and we sure as hell aren’t looking for sexy foreign policy. Basic competence would be enough at this point and this moron claims they avoid errors? We suppose if you actually believe the Benghazi travesty is a phony scandal, as he does, they may have avoided errors, but it’s quite obvious to anyone with functioning brain matter his foreign policy has been nothing short of disastrous.

President Obama offered a full-throated defense of his foreign policy on Monday, accusing critics who argue that he has not been aggressive enough on the world stage of failing to learn the lessons of the Iraq war.

During a press conference in Manila, Obama said that while his foreign policy efforts “may not always be sexy,” he had strengthened partnerships and allegiances around the world that would pay dividends for years to come.

“If you look at the results of what we’ve done over the last five years, it is fair to say that our alliances are stronger, our partnerships are stronger, and in the Asia Pacific region, just to take one example, we are much better positioned to work with the peoples here on a whole range of issues of mutual interest,” Obama said.

So how’d that Russia reset work out, champ?

“And that may not always be sexy,” he continued. “That may not always attract a lot of attention, and it doesn’t make for good argument on Sunday morning shows. But it avoids errors. You hit singles, you hit doubles; every once in a while we may be able to hit a home run. But we steadily advance the interests of the American people and our partnership with folks around the world.”

The comments appeared a direct rebuke to Republican lawmakers like Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who has repeatedly criticized the president over his handling of the crisis in Ukraine.

Last Tuesday, McCain said it was “insane” for the U.S. not to provide the Ukrainian military with lethal assistance amid fears Russia could be mounting an invasion.

“This administration, I never have seen anything like it in my life,” McCain toldThe Wall Street Journal. “It’s passive.”

It’s stunningly incompetent is what it is.

Ask Mrs. Smith about “..avoiding errors…”Moreover, Cindy Sheehan had “moral clarity, according to The New York Times, while Mrs. Smith should be upset with a video, not President45.

Egypt: Backed the Muslim Brotherhood — oops
Iraq: Negotiated for troops to stay in Iraq — oops
Afghanistan: Working to strengthen government against Taliban — oops
Libya: Working to remove despot — MAJOR OOPS, including dead Americans and establishing a permanent base for Islamic militants
Syria: Working to remove despot — this time without strengthening Islamic militants — BIG OOPS
Brokering deal with Isreal and Palestinians — oops
Reset with Russia — EPIC OOPS

    “But it avoids errors.”

There are some very sad, pathetic people who avoid errors by ensuring that nothing gets done, and this President is one of those people. Unfortunately, what this President fails to understand is that in a competitive world, there are a lot of tough-minded individuals who don’t play by those rules. Just because you slow down or stop doesn’t mean they will. Many are encouraged by US lack of resolve.

The Obama Doctrine: If you close your eyes real tight and think happy thoughts, the bad men will go away.
