Chicagoland: Fifteen Shot Since Thursday Afternoon

Posted by on May 09, 2014 at 8:14 am

We’re waiting on Obama to tell us how violence in Chicago is the first thing he thinks of when he wakes up every morning. Maybe then something will get done to prevent the daily carnage.

At least 15 people were wounded in shootings across Chicago Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, according to authorities.

Eight of the fourteen people shot were wounded in the city’s Calumet police district on the Far South Side though people were shot as far north as Touhy Avenue – a distance of 30 miles between the northern- and southern-most shootings Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.

Just getting warmed up for the weekend.

“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with a gun”.

Someday, when the “good guys” in Chicago have had enough, they might vote in politicians who will repeal the infringements upon their 2nd Amendment rights, so they can defend themselves.
