Awesome: Democrat Comes to Robust Defense of the VA

The problem here isn’t Obama’s incompetence so can we just move along or something?

A stampede of Florida politicians, Republicans and Democrats, have joined the national outcry about problems at the VA. But Rep. Corrine Brown remains convinced about one thing:

“We’re doing fine in Florida,” she said this evening at a VA hearing, listing projects in the state.

Her comfort level caught the attention of the GOP opposition group America Rising, which clipped the video below, particularly since the VA in Gainesville has come under question for having a secret waiting lists such as the ones at the Phoenix facility.

We doubt she’s even aware. She’s got a guy who looks like her to protect, and the skin color is all that matters.

Reports the Gainesville Sun: “VA spokeswoman Mary Kay Hollingsworth said a mental health scheduler created a paper list — against protocol — to reschedule follow-up appointments for patients who were already seen by their provider because the scheduler was not given clearance to access the computer system. Once given access, the appointments were entered into the system, she said.”

Still the outrage Florida officials have shown is in stark contrast to Brown’s assessment. “Heads should roll,” Nelson declared Friday in Gainesville.

This is an embarrassment, and we’re not even talking about that lampshade she’s sporting:

Well, my expression after listening to this semi-literate legislator is just precisely that of Dr. Lynch:

    The face of Job.
