Alan Grayson in 2012: “My Opponent Was ‘Very Abusive’ to His Ex-Wife”

Posted by on Mar 05, 2014 at 7:23 am

Unhinged Democrat darling Alan Grayson was hit with a restraining order Tuesday after an altercation with his estranged wife last weekend, and then accused her of being crazy and attacking him. Ironically the lunatic Democrat tok to the Daily Kos in 2012 to accuse his Congressional opponent of being abusive to his ex-wife. You can’t make this stuff up.

The local CBS affiliate in Orlando, WKMG, has reported that my opponent, Todd Long, was “very abusive” to his ex-wife.

Given Long’s history of severe alcoholism, this should surprise no one. Long passed out drunk outside a schoolyard, 200 miles from home. He was convicted of driving under the influence. He is barred for life from the Mall at Millenia in Orlando, for being drunk and disorderly.

And he is the Republican nominee against me. Wow, the Republicans sure know how to pick them, don’t they?

The local news report on Long’s abusive misconduct comes out of sworn testimony. In open court, Long’s wife, Ninette, said it directly to Long’s face: “You were very abusive and manipulative.” Long testified right after Ninette, and he didn’t even endeavor to contradict her testimony.

Todd Long has taken the Republicans’ war on women to its logical conclusion. With Long, it’s not a metaphor. It’s the real thing.

Sadly ironic that Grayson’s wife Lolita has accused the blowhard bully of a history of physical violence against her.

In her petition, Lolita Grayson said Grayson pushed her against a door, causing her to fall to the ground during a confrontation on Saturday. The petition also stated that Grayson had a “history of physical violence” toward her and “physically battered” her and the couple’s two children “from time to time.”

Lolita Grayson filed for divorce from the congressman in January 2014, calling their 24-year marriage “irretrievably broken.”

Grayson toot to Twitetr to break the news:

Bet he’d like to have that one back. More from Twitchy, including debate video.

Where are the breathless calls from the feminists on the left for Grayson’s immediate resignation? Where’s the daily hours of MSNBC coverage from Rachel Maddow or Melissa Harris-Perry or Lawrence O’ Donnell as with Chris Christie?

    Oh, there are none.

    That’s certainly strange, yes?

I am shocked, I tell you, shocked, that a rabid Democrat hatemonger like Grayson is accused of repeatedly beating his wife and children.

I’d like to say something nice about Grayson but I can’t think of anything nice about him.
