Look, we understand everything is political with these people, but this astonishing display of stupidity and ignorance should not go unnoticed. While the left completelty melted down Monday over the Hobby Lobby ruling, this clip from the putative Democrat nominee for president in 2016 has flown under the radar. The media wants to ignore it since it exposes her as a complete dunce who doesn’t even appear to realize her own husband signed into law the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act back in 1993.
Then again, since she’s suffered from massive head trauma, perhaps she just doesn’t remember it? How else can you explain her thinking we live in Pakistan?
So to introduce this element into our society…it’s very troubling that a salesclerk at Hobby Lobby who needs contraception, which is pretty expensive, is not going to get that service through her employer’s health care plan because her employer doesn’t think she should be using contraception.
Nobody is losing contraceptive care. How goddamn difficult is it to grasp that basic fact?
Since the lamestream media has largely ignored this astonishing ignorance, don’t expect a clarification any time soon.
“Absurd statements like that are unlikely to go corrected,” he said. “You’re not going to have front-page-above-the-fold correct-the-record stories in the New York Times about Hillary Clinton saying preposterous things.”
Hayes added that he believes the Democrats will create political ads that will distort the truth about the decision.
“They’re going to make these arguments,” he said. “They’re going to use this in ads. It won’t be corrected because most people in the media believe the same thing.”
