Benghazi and Fort Hood were clearly terrorist attacks. Why the reticence to say so when those terrorist attacks occurred?
The suicide attack carried out at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara was “clearly an act of terror,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said Friday.
“A suicide bombing in the perimeter of an embassy is by definition an act of terror, a terrorist attack,” Carney told reporters at Friday’s daily briefing.
So, um, why did Obama blame Benghazi on a YouTube video for weeks afterward?
Of course they don’t even have concrete evidence who did what today but they rushed out to declare it terror unequivocally. Hey, for all we know it could be an act of workplace violence like Fort Hood. Why the rush to judgment all of a sudden?
He said that the United States “strongly condemns” the incident but cautioned that “we do not know at this point who is responsible or the motivations behind the attack.”
Two days after Benghazi this same hack called it a heavy assault.
“This has been a difficult week for the State Department and for our country. We’ve seen the heavy assault on our post in Benghazi that took the lives of those brave men. We’ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over n awful Internet video that we had nothing to do with. It is hard for the American people to make sense of that because it is senseless, and it is totally unacceptable.”
Can’t they still blame today’s attack on the video? At least we know where that suspect is.
