How many times must these lowlife Democrats be charged with sexual harassment before they get the boot from office? We hear nonstop about this so-called War on Women by Republicans, but where do we see comparable behavior from them?
We don’t, so why must we live with such double standards?
There’s a creepy new accusation in the sexual-harassment probe of Assemblyman Vito Lopez — that he even leered at a 14-year-old intern and made comments about her sexy attire, sources told the The Post.
“He made comments about a 14-year-old intern, how attractive she dressed, and he wanted one of the female staffers to dress in a sexy way like this 14-year-old,” said one of several sources familiar with the ethics probe.
Lopez’s behavior around a minor was just one of the shocking findings to emerge from testimony submitted to the Joint Commission on Public Ethics.
So we’ve got an old man slobbering over a 14-year-old and he’s still in office? What does he need to do, start rubbing against her before anyone has a problem with this?
Several sources also said Lopez had a fetish: He urged female employees to rub his hands when he claimed they went numb.
“He asked them to massage his hand. He claimed he needed it for some medical reason,” said one source familiar with the Lopez investigation.
A second source close to the probe added, “Some people are into feet. He’s into hands. It’s just his thing.”
Oh, it’s just his thing. Move along, nothing to see here.
In August, the Assembly Ethics Committee unanimously determined that Lopez had violated chamber rules after two young female staffers complained that he sexually harassed them. The Brooklyn pol was later censored and stripped of his leadership post.
Soon after that action, it was learned that the Assembly’s leaders had earlier settled a separate case with two other female staffers, awarding them a secret $103,080 settlement in response to claims Lopez had groped them.
A second criminal investigation of Lopez is also being conducted by Staten Island District Attorney Dan Donovan’s office.
Meanwhile, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, who agreed to pay the two former staffers the big bucks in hush money, insisted yesterday he is cooperating with JCOPE.
So the speaker paid off hush money and this lowlife is still harassing women. Your Democratic Party in action, folks. Own it.
