We’re just positive this poll released today is a mere coincidence. It can’t possibly be a veiled threat to Republicans that they better play nice with this delicate flower.
As she heads to Capitol Hill this morning to testify regarding the death of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, Hillary Clinton, the outgoing secretary of state, has something her former legislative colleagues lack: the broad support of the American public.
Fully 67 percent of all Americans in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll now express favorable views of Clinton, a record high in the survey, albeit by a single percentage point. By contrast, just 19 percent of people said they approved of the way Congress was doing its job in a Post-ABC poll released last week.
They claim it’s a random poll of 1003 adults, but if you actually believe that 49% of conservatives have a favorable opinion of her I’ve got some great oceanfront property in New Mexico for you.
In other news, after 18 weeks she might finally have her story straight in order to testify about Benghazi. We’re sure she’ll be totally truthful and forthcoming about the Obama administration coverup of the events of September 11.
