She claimed she was just sitting in a Starbucks and became outraged at how mean everyone was to the poor dead terrorist, so she sprung into action. If she weren’t so stupid she’d probably have kept a low profile.
One of the suspected Boston marathon bombers, Tamerlan Tsaernev has been buried at a private Muslim cemetery in Caroline County after a resident of the Richmond area led an inter-faith effort to find a “compassionate and humane” solution to the issue of where to bury the body.
“It’s horrible what happened,” said Martha Mullen, a counselor and member of a local United Methodist church, which she declined to identify. “But I guess I just feel that Jesus says love your enemies and I really believe that… I also think when somebody’s dead… you just need to bury them and move on.”
Tsarnaev was buried this week at the Al-Barzakh Cemetery in Doswell, which is run by a group called Islamic Funeral Services of Virginia.
Mullen said she reached out to authorities in Boston on Tuesday after learning they were having some difficulty figuring out where to bury Tsaernev, who died April 19 in a shootout with police. The process was also coordinated with Ruslan Tsarni, Tsaernev’s uncle.
Mullen is listed as a School Counseling Specialist for the Chesterfield School District.
