Video: CBS Reports ObamaCare Enrollments Got Off to Very Slow Start

Posted by on Oct 31, 2013 at 9:08 pm

If by very slow start you guessed six people, step up and claim your OFA Senior Fellowship. In case you needed any further indictment of what a fiasco ObamaCare has become, behold this report from Sharyl Attkisson of CBS, who’s been a one-woman gang among network media in exposing Obama corruption. This one drops hard.

The website launched on a Tuesday. Publicly, the government said there were 4.7 million unique visits in the first 24 hours. But at a meeting Wednesday morning, the war room notes say “six enrollments have occurred so far.”

They were with BlueCross BlueShield North Carolina and Kansas City, CareSource and Healthcare Service Corporation.

By Wednesday afternoon, enrollments were up to “approximately 100.” By the end of Wednesday, the notes reflect “248 enrollments” nationwide

No word if one of those was the original poster boy Chad Henderson. Used to be a time when reporters who consistently exposed corruption were feted by their peers and won awards and accolades. Then there’s Sharyl Attkisson, exposing widespread, systemic  corruption and abuse by Obama and she’s largely ignored, even in her own newsroom. Funny, that.

More here and here.

Here’s the clip, thanks to  BenK84.

Reporting straight up numbers is not advocacy.

Advocacy would be assuring the readership that Obamacare is awesome and if you don’t absolutely lurve it then you are a loser idiot who is a stupid person. Which, come to think of it, we actually have seen. But not from Attkinsson.

SNL said the system was designed for a maximum of 6.
I thought that meant 6 at a time. I had no idea it meant 6 per day.

Dan is right. This isn’t the first time she’s done a story that puts the President in a bad light, there definitely seems to be a pattern. CBS should take a closer look at her and decide whether she’s contributing meaningful work or really just harming their brand.

The President puts himself in a bad light without any assistance from this reporter. He is approaching legendary status for the sheer incompetency he has displayed in both his choices for key administration positions and his inability to grasp the even the fundamental requirements of his office.

In fact, the only thing that keeps Obama’s administration afloat are all of the advocacy reporters that keep propping him up.

I suppose it won’t be long until she’s fired.
The One doesn’t allow dissent among the White House’s media arm.

Stay away from Fort Marcy Park.

KLH …The word “custerf*%k” has been successfully redefined by this administration…

You are absolutely correct; they’ve displayed competency at one thing. Which is one more thing than I have previously given them credit for, so that’s nice for them.
