Tsarnaevs Raked in $100K in Benefits: “The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning”

State-financed terrorism. Gee, and here we thought these grifters came her for political asylum?

The Tsarnaev family, including the suspected terrorists and their parents, benefited from more than $100,000 in taxpayer-funded assistance — a bonanza ranging from cash and food stamps to Section 8 housing from 2002 to 2012, the Herald has learned.

“The breadth of the benefits the family was receiving was stunning,” said a person with knowledge of documents handed over to a legislative committee today.

The state has handed over more than 500 documents to the 11-member House Post Audit and Oversight Committee, which today met for the first time and plans to call in officials from the Department of Transitional Assistance to testify.

“I can assure members of the public that this committee will actively review every single piece of information we can find because clearly the public has a substantial right to know what benefits, if any, this family or individuals accused of some horrific crimes were receiving,” said state Rep. David Linsky (D-Natick), the committee’s chairman.

We suspect $100,000 is on the low end. Well, since we’re in the midst of the so-called immigration “reform” debate these days, why not open the books on all the illegals and those already granted asylum? This administration likes to talk about transparency. Now let’s have some/

And yet tens of millions of people living in America (not necessarily Americans, mind you) are receiving benefits like this. Free housing, free food, free cell phones, now free health care.

All that does is of course breed contempt among them for the rest of us paying their bills. Where’s *my* $10,000 a year from Obamee?

    Where’s *yours*?

When are you going to do something about it?

@myiq2xu – so what is your point? Because they received ONLY $10,000 per year of taxpayer money for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, it is understandable they blew people up? Seriously?

Immigrants are not supposed to be “public charges”. It does seem bizarre that public funds went to immigrants at all, even refugees, and even more so that the recipients of the largesse have turned to terror.
That said — $10k per year for a family of five is pretty small assistance. It isn’t the amount of money, really, it’s the fact and the response that very reasonably disturb people.
