I’m developing a serious man-crush on this guy.

Now could we possibly come up with a better name for an incompetent IRS hack than Faris Fink?

Trey Gowdy, along with Ted Cruz, are for real. If only we had a GOP made up with the likes of them instead of Boehner and the Quislings.

Trey Gowdy gutted them like a true Southern Gentleman: quietly, pointedly, and thoroughly. When he is finished all the finks can do is slink away or challenge him to a duel because they have no honor left.

The only issue I have with this is that it sounds like Gowdy’s premise is that we don’t need to cut government spending, we just need to spread it around more equitably; spend it more responsibly.

Voters have consistently chosen members of Congress who are just as irresponsible as those IRS and GSA employees who have indulged themselves in so many ways; who have abused their power in so many ways; and who willingly and willfully break existing law.

Rep. Gowdy is right, but it is up to Congress to actually do something about the situation, other than to scold the miscreants.

No, his point is that there wouldn’t be a need for so much money if it was not wasted.

I lov Trey. Too bad we dont have at least a dozen more just like him. Lucky you that live in his district. And South Carolina, you should be very proud of him.
