The Fruits of Smart Diplomacy: North Korea to Target USA With Nuke Test

Maybe Mrs. Clinton can direct some of her feigned outrage toward the Norks now that they’re planning to target us with nuclear tests and rockets. Or perhaps when John Heinz Kerry appears for his Secretary of State confirmation hearings someone can ask him about it.

North Korea said on Thursday it would carry out further rocket launches and a nuclear test that would target the United States, dramatically stepping up its threats against a country it called its “sworn enemy”.

The announcement by the country’s top military body came a day after the U.N. Security Council agreed to a U.S.-backed resolution to censure and sanction North Korea for a rocket launch in December that breached U.N. rules.

“We are not disguising the fact that the various satellites and long-range rockets that we will fire and the high-level nuclear test we will carry out are targeted at the United States,” North Korea’s National Defence Commission said, according to state news agency KCNA.

North Korea is believed by South Korea and other observers to be “technically ready” for a third nuclear test, and the decision to go ahead rests with leader Kim Jong-un who pressed ahead with the December rocket launch in defiance of the U.N. sanctions.

China, the one major diplomatic ally of the isolated and impoverished North, agreed to the U.S.-backed resolution and it also supported resolutions in 2006 and 2009 after Pyongyang’s two earlier nuclear tests.

Thursday’s statement by North Korea represents a huge challenge to Beijing as it undergoes a leadership transition with Xi Jinping due to take office in March.

U.S. representatives issued a a strongly worded rebuke. Well, not really.

“We hope they don’t do it. We call on them not to do it,” Davies said after a meeting with South Korean officials. “This is not a moment to increase tensions on the Korean peninsula.”

How far we’ve come: From ‘Don’t mess with the U.S.” to “We hope they don’t do it.” That should have them shaking in their boots.

Shoot one at us. I welcome the presidents response. Oh yeah, there won’t be one, except for in apology format.

Right .. buy the Nork propaganda when it suits your purpose. Given their results so far, it would be a stretch to say that they could “target” Seoul.

At least the Nork peasants are innocent. Half of ours voted for TFG.

Its rather nauseating isn’t it, Having to listen to these pygmy dwarf Koreans all the time. But I’m sure old Ketchup Kerry will get right on this after his coronation in the senate.

“So Los Angeles has been vaporized! WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?”

There is porbably an “Innocence of the Norks” video already out there somewhere, just waiting to be used an as excuse.

Norks, repeat after me: “California, not Oregon. California, not Oregon. California, not Oregon.”.

Look, it’s only a test. We should cheerfully join in and test one of our defense missiles against it. Shoot the Nork’s wheezer down in mid ocean. How could the Norks possible complain about that? Oh yes, make it a holiday, film the entire event and sell it to the highest mainstream ‘news’ bidder. Use the $$ to pay for our missile. Win win.

Note to lefty rat trolls who come sniffing around: You are ENEMY and we hate you to the point of intoxication so get along now and don’t come back.

Would be really cool if we had a president that had the potential to go all Pearl Harbor on the norks — just one bright and sunny morning have wave upon wave of our finest eliminating any military capability they might have. Maybe a MOAB or two on Pyongyang as well, as punctuation…

As our enemies around the globe continue to arm, make threats, and gain confidence, the policy of Comrade/Kalif Obama is to weaken our military by allowing open homosexuals to serve and putting women in combat arms roles and positions. Of course his strongly worded response to the Norks and our Islamo-pig enemies will undoubtedly give them pause as they build up to the total annihilation of our Republic. Now the mountain of colossal ignorance plans on GIVING F-16′s and hundreds of M1 Abrahms tanks to that Islamo-ape Morsi and his allies in he Muslim on the right are just being Brotherhood. And who do you think they would use them against? Certainly not Israel. Nah. After all, Obama just looooves Israel and especially Benjamin Netanyahu.
