Thanksgiving News Dump: Obama to Announce Yearlong Delay of Online Enrollment for Small Businesses

Posted by on Nov 27, 2013 at 1:06 pm

It’s the season of giving, but Obama’s not giving up quite yet. Although this is pretty much a death blow to the ObamaCare debacle.

Marking the latest setback, the Obama administration today will announce a yearlong delay of online enrollment for small businesses looking to purchase health coverage through federal-run exchanges, according to an HHS notice obtained by POLITICO.

Small businesses have been able to apply through paper applications since Oct. 1, and HHS will announce alternative sign-up methods, like enrolling through an agent or broker or directly through an insurer.

“We’ve concluded that we can best serve small employers by continuing this offline process while we concentrate on both creating a smoothly functioning online experience in the SHOP Marketplace, and adding key new features, including an employee choice option and premium aggregation services, by November 2014,” according to the HHS notice.

All a bunch of happy talk psychobabble. Take that and your Thanksgiving talking points and go do you know what with them.

Update: We can’t help but have some fun with our intellectual superiors.

You forgot #smarttake on the tweet there for Ezra The Clod’s benefit.

Defund and repeal the law in the House budget bill, then dare Obamee and the Democrat party to shut the government down over a law that doesn’t work and that the vast majority of Americans hate.

Obamee, being the arrogant, preening buffoon he is, will do exactly that.

Victory will be total for our side within weeks.

when will the first reporter ask, if all these Obamacare rules are necessary and beneficial, why does the president keep delaying them? Does he hate poor sick people?
