Stunner: Shootings Up 10% in NYC After Liberal Hack Judge Ruled Stop-and-Frisk Unconstitutional

Another liberal success story. If there was justice the shooting victims could sue this hack fraud Shira Scheindlin.

The recent ruling to reform the New York Police Department’s controversial ‘stop-and-frisk’ tactic has already led to a sharp rise in shootings, new figures reveal.

In the month after the policy was ruled unconstitutional shootings spiked nearly 13 per cent while gun seizures fell almost a fifth, the figures show.

In the 28 days up to September 8 there were 140 shootings across the city, compared with 124 over the same period last year, according to NYPD statistics.

The shocking rise in gun crime has emerged days after the federal judge who ordered an overhaul of the stop-and-frisk strategy refused to delay it pending an appeal by the city.

U.S. District Judge Shira Scheindlin said such a delay would send ‘precisely the wrong signal.’

She had ordered changes in August after finding the program discriminates against minorities. Police have stopped, questioned and sometimes patted down about 5million people over a decade.

Of course nobody on the left could possibly admit any connections. Instead they’ll just call for more gun control. Speaking of which, onc of the cities with the stiffest gun control laws in America has now become the deadliest. You’ve probably heard of this place. It’s led by the Tiny Dancer, Rahm Emanuel, and is home to the current occupant of the White House.

The city of Chicago registered more homicides than any city in the nation in 2012, surpassing even New York — despite the fact that the Second City has only one third as many residents as the Big Apple.

In new crime statistics released Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported 500 murders in Chicago in 2012, up sharply from the 431 recorded in 2011. New York reported 419 murders last year, compared with 515 in 2011.

But residents of Chicago and New York were much less likely to be victims of a homicide than residents of Flint, Mich. Sixty-three murders occurred in 2012 in Flint, a city of 101,632, meaning one in every 1,613 city residents were homicide victims. Detroit, which experienced 386 homicides in 2012, was almost as unsafe; that’s enough murders to account for one in every 1,832 residents.

Flint is also home to another big gun control proponent, Michael Moore. Of course none of these people could ever possibly comprehend the fact that liberalism and crime go hand in hand.

“… none of these people could ever possibly comprehend the fact that liberalism and crime go hand in hand.”

I disagree. They fully comprehend the relationship. It is one of many techniques they are employing to destroy Western Civilization.

I’m no lefty. I harbor no affection for lefties. And I’m no lover of violence toward fellow citizens, whether it be weaponless physical violence or gun violence. The judge was correct, however: Random stop-and-frisk is unconstitutional. To elevate a police encounter to a detention, an officer must have some sort of reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing, and any kind of allowances made to the state to lower the threshold in that regard puts at least one foot of the populace on the slippery slope to tyranny. The freedom the Framers enshrined in the Constitution was not the freedom to be free from danger, but the freedom to live our lives free of the coercive pressures of the state, and random stop-and-frisk laws are an affront to that freedom. Violence may be a problem in our society, but doing violence to our Constitutional freedoms is hardly the way to solve that problem, IMO.

The judge is a woman, she is a Democratic appointee (Clinton), and she is Jewish. That told you everything you needed to know before the case even began.

I agree with Jazz. If I’m walking along the sidewalk and the police do not have reasonable suspicion that I have committed some chargeable offense, they should leave me alone.

The solution is to allow legal carry, not to allow stop-and-frisk, to day it is a hoodie tomorrow it will be us. More freedom, NOT less is the answer.

More armed citizens is the air tight, fool-proof answer.

If a thug doesn’t know if his intended victim is carrying, he is a lot less likely to draw his gun.

Unfortunately for us, our college contaminated and thoroughly indoctrinated elites are incapable of grasping common sense notions accessible to any ordinary laborer with a grade school education.

Our country is gone already. Will we get it back?

What are you prepared to do about it?
