While watching television today I’ve seen trailers for an upcoming Sylvester Stallone movie with a title so ridiculous given today’s charged atmosphere over guns. Even as the most strident of Second Amendment supporters, can you find a more clumsy title than this?
Bullet to the Head? Really, that’s the best you folks in Hollywood can do?
Now of course Stallone has long been a Hollywood action hero with supposedly right leanings, but how can he in good conscience star in a movie with such a heavy-handed title when he long ago revealed his true feelings about guns?
Also surprising? Rambo himself is anti-gun. In response to the shooting of Phil Hartman in 1999, Sylvester Stallone told Access Hollywood, “Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have. It’s pathetic. It really is pathetic. It’s sad. We’re living in the Dark Ages over there.”
WHAT?? WHAT IS STALLONE SAYING, PRO-GUN OR AGAINST GUNS.. SELF SERVING IDIOTS. IF THEY MAKE MONEY, DON’T CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REST. WHY ARE AMERICANS PAYING AND GOING TO SEE VIOLENT MOVIES?

I recall Sly made a movie, his first by the way where he abuses and has sex with some Italian girl mostly it’s just him abusing the girl though.

Get all of your movies from the library. Yes you have to wait, but watching for free is the best revenge.
The problem in the Hartman case, like so many tragedies, wasn’t the presence of a gun. It was the willingness of the shooter to use it. From the descriptions at the time, Mrs. Hartman would probably have bludgeoned her husband and hanged herself if that were the only method to finish her plan.
As for Stallone — I’ve enjoyed some of his movies, especially Nighthawks (with Billy Dee Williams). Others have left me cold. I’ve never taken his politics seriously.

Did you know that Stallone is impotent? Blew out his testicles with steroids back in the eighties, and now has to use them all the time. Back when this happened there were no penile injections or PDE-5 meds, so he had an inflatable penile prosthesis placed. I work out and try to keep myself in decent shape, but you always hear about guys who do so to the extreme and how they must be covering up for something. Here’s a case of a guy that demonstrates that in spades.
