Slobbering Obama Sycophant Jonathan Alter Throws Valerie Jarrett Under the Bus

Obama’s media palace guard has begun to circle the wagons around their master in his time of scandal. On Monday they all dutifully and hilariously regurgitated the meme about the GOP overreaching (read: doing their jobs) on the myriad investigations, which produced a hilarious rundown of the mind-numbed idiots captured here. Now along comes the hapless leftwing hack Jonathan Alter to promote his new book about Obama and his enemies. You see, Obama is pristine and above the messy Washington fray. It’s all the other folks who are the enemies.

You may recall Alter as the author of the absurd article in the fall of 2011 about Obama allegedly being  scandal-free, clearly burying his head in the sand on what back then already included Fast & Furious and the Solyndra debacle.

Now along comes this mealy-mouthed bootlicker pimping his book on the poor, abused Obama, who apparently has nothing to do with anything in the Obama administration. Welcome under the bus, Ms. Valerie Jarrett!

Author Jonathan Alter says White House leadership is disorganized because of a crowded chain of command and he criticized President Obama’s tapping of  Valerie Jarrett to head outreach, likening it to a CEO putting his sister in charge of marketing.

“They have a small circle, they don’t have a chief operating officer. Remember what Princess Diana said when Prince Charles had his mistress who is now his wife? She said ‘the marriage got a little crowded, there were three of us.’ Well, that’s what it felt like to people like Bill Daley and Jack Lew, anybody who was chief of staff in that White House. Because there’s a group that includes Valerie Jarrett, Pete Rouse, a small group of other people around the president,” Alter said on MSNBC’s “Hard Ball with Chris Matthews” Monday. “It doesn’t work as well as it should have.”

Alter — whose book, “The Center Holds: Obama and His Enemies,” is due out Tuesday — made the remarks in response to questions about why the White House is not as focused as the Obama campaign and who is really in charge. Alter said he wasn’t sure about the lack of focus but said chief of staff Denis McDonough is new to the post, and he said he was certain Jarrett would not have been a better pick for the job.

So what does this say about Obama’s leadership? Is he so incompetent he can’t dismiss these obviously inept people? Why does Jarrett wield such influence? Look, we realize Obama is in over his head, but why is it always someone else’s fault? At some point isn’t he responsible for those who report to him? Apparently not since he’s yet to lift a finger to dismiss all the folks who are currently up to their ears in his scandals. Laughably, Alter’s so-called book in entitled The Center Holds: Obama and His Enemies, which we suppose in Alter’s warped mind means Obama is in the center. You can’t possibly fix such cluelessness. Meanwhile, don’t expect to learn from Alter how Obama seemingly was elected through intimidation and fraud (helpfully aided by Mitt Romney’s bumbling), with the mushrooming IRS scandal having plenty to do with that. It’s ironic that the guy who claimed Obama is scandal-free now ignores all the scandals that will consume his corrupt administration. The blinders are on, so don’t bother Alter:

He tweeted that a week ago. How prescient.

The Treasury Inspector General who uncovered the improper targeting of Tea Party groups by the Internal Revenue Service said Monday he was stunned by what his investigation uncovered.

Russell George, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), said the targeting at the IRS his probe discovered was “unprecedented,” and the closest comparison that came to mind was the targeting of political enemies by the administration of Richard Nixon.

“During the Nixon administration, there were attempts to use the Internal Revenue Services in manners that might be comparable in terms of misusing it. I’m not saying the actions taken here are comparable,” he told a House Appropriations subcommittee. “This is unprecedented.”

Poor Alter. Used and abused by Obama, who didn’t have the common courtesy to give him an overreach-around.

He’s another whore benefiting from this system. He won’t do a thing that would transform it.

What you have is an exceptionally strong willed personality dominating a weak gutless one, think Rasputin. It has seemed to me that Obama was taking the worst advice thinkable given by a hardheaded extreme left winger, reinforced daily. Her advice has been to put all your chips on the table and bet on red and trust me you’ll win, but what happens when you lose?
They have rigged the game 6 ways to Sunday and still couldn’t get back the house or pass any of his agenda. They bet to try to steamroll the opposition is backfiring very badly, with no possibility of a plan B, and the likely architect has always been Jarrett, which just makes Obama an empty suited puppet.

Presumably Valerie Jarrett influences Obama strongly because they share a lot — agenda items, methods, etc. That means he is indeed responsible for her actions, and Holder’s, and a whole lot of others.
Reverse the polarity: how heavily were the actions of subordinates hung around the necks of Bush, Bush and Reagan?

Alter is right, though. There is no comparison between Nixon and Obama.

Nixon loved his country. He didn’t do anything Johnson or Kennedy hadn’t already done, and he didn’t have a sycophantic media virtually fellating him. Nixon was a flawed man.

Obama clearly hates this country. He went far beyond anything Nixon was impeached for, and he only got elected (and then re-elected) because of the media. Obama is a Tyrant-in-waiting and the personification of Narcissus.

So, hey, the broken clock got one right — but not in any way that he intended.

Dookhh, you are wrong. Obama is winning, has won darned near everything. There will be no serious consequences of weaponizing the IRS. Really, you want to argue that? Just who will charge who? Impeachment is off the table so long as 34 Ds are in the Senate and Obama’s people are the only ones who can file a formal criminal charge.

So now that the election is over Lerner herself put the story into the media. Months of yelling will now ensue and exactly NOTHING will happen in the end. Care to guess what lesson will be learned from this by everyone with three or more brain cells? That the IRS is a fully armed and operational death star and that resistance is futile. Donations to politically incorrect organizations will dry up out of fear, and the Republican Party will become even more docile, lacking grass roots pressure and feeling the loss of money.

In other words, post election they WANTED us to know, to let us rage impotently at them and then shut up in fear. They aren’t hiding the fascism anymore because they don’t have to. We are now in the end game and unless somebody can find a way to overturn the table, we are going to lose because the rules say ‘they win, we lose.’ But we keep playing by the rules our enemies hand down and being outraged and shocked every time we realize how rigged they are.
