Schumer Decides It’s OK to Overturn a Law

For some time now whenever anyone says ObamaCare should be overturned all were hear from obnoxious Democrats is IT’S THE LAW!   Yet believe it or not laws can be changed, or scrapped entirely. So when a Democrat like Chuckie Schumer finds a law he doesn’t like, well, then it’s fine to repeal it. But ObamaCare? Nope, can’t touch that.

It’s perfectly legal for businesses to ship rifles, shotguns, butane gas and certain small explosives via the U.S. Postal Service. Yet it’s a crime to mail a bottle of merlot or a six-pack of oatmeal stout.

Wednesday, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) called to overturn the law barring the post office from shipping beer, wine and liquor. The move, he said, would boost New York’s growing wine and craft-beer industry and give the beleaguered postal service a needed revenue shot.

“It will be a win, win, win for New York,” said Schumer, who is pushing for the change as part of a postal reform bill introduced earlier this year.

Private shipping companies — including UPS and FedEx — have long been allowed to deliver alcohol, making beer and wine clubs a key moneymaker for small breweries and wineries.

We actually have no problem with Schumer’s proposal, as we’ve experienced this when shipping wine from Napa Valley in years past. The point is laws can be repealed and modified, especially those that are harmful to Americans and our economy, namely ObamaCare. So the next time idiots like Schumer and other Obama stooges declares IT’S THE LAW!, you have something to counter them with.

The blue staters getting hammered by Obamacare need to demand repeal, and vote accordingly. A veto-proof groundswell in congress can repeal this dreadful law just like prohibition.
