Well, nobody but the big brains at CNN.
He rode a wave of voter anger to a surprise win in a Minnesota governor’s race more than a decade ago. Now Jesse Ventura says he could try it again, this time for president.
On CNN’s “Crossfire” Friday night, the always-outspoken Ventura declared himself “a member of no parties” as he called for the abolishment of political parties. Asked if he would run for president in 2016, Ventura quickly said, “Maybe.”
Oh, guess he’s a No Labels guy. Swell. Just what America is clamoring for: A punch-drunk 9/11 truther.
He told “Piers Morgan Live” earlier this week it would be realistic only “if I’m allowed in the debate. But you notice those two parties control the debates? They won’t let anyone else in them. If I can debate them, Piers, I can beat them. It’s that simple.”
And in a radio interview last week, he said he’d want his 2016 running mate to be radio host Howard Stern.
