Post-Racial America: Obama’s HUD Goons to Track So-Called ‘Diversity’ in Your Neighborhood

Sick and tired of social engineering? You haven’t seen anything yet. Now the overly intrusive federal government will be keeping tabs on racial breakdowns by neighborhood in order to ensure fairness or something. So unless you’re an elite like Obama, forget about choosing to live where and with whomever you want.

America, it was great while it lasted.

In a move some claim is tantamount to social engineering, the Department of Housing and Urban Development is imposing a new rule that would allow the feds to track diversity in America’s neighborhoods and then push policies to change those it deems discriminatory.

The policy is called, “Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing.” It will require HUD to gather data on segregation and discrimination in every single neighborhood and try to remedy it.

HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan unveiled the federal rule at the NAACP convention in July.

“Unfortunately, in too many of our hardest hit communities, no matter how hard a child or her parents work, the life chances of that child, even her lifespan, is determined by the zip code she grows up in. This is simply wrong,” he said.

Indeed, you could grow up in a lily-white Hawaii neighborhood, go to an elite private high school and Ivy League universities and somehow, with no resume to speak of, become president.

But one critic says it smacks of utopian idealism.

“This is just the latest of a series of attempts by HUD to social engineer the American people,” said Ed Pinto, of the American Enterprise Institute. “It started with public housing and urban renewal, which failed spectacularly back in the 50’s and 60’s. They tried it again in the 90’s when they wanted to transform house finance, do away with down payments, and the result was millions of foreclosures and financial collapse.”

And who was it who foisted that scam on America? Why Democrats, of course, and no amount of spectacular failure will ever deter them from further meddling in your lives. Now Obama wants even more of it. If you want no part of this, they’ll drag you into court, ruin your life and call you racist, so shut up.

It is interesting to note that those areas failing economically and socially are managed by dim controlled government. Maybe all those areas need to thrive is a change in leadership.

So — if this pasty-faced white girl wants to move in to an all-black neighborhood, the gubmint will help me do so in the name of diversity???

NEWSFLASH – This has been going on for years
The GUBMINT has been tracking housing and Real Estate Sales for racial patterns for over 40 years

You can’t change the way people think – although Obama has managed to set race relations back to pre-MLK days

Instead of healing – He fans the flames !

Very sad that He and his racist in chief buddy doesn’t get it!

No one is barring minorities from buying in my neighborhood.

None of them seem to want to milk cows, grow potatoes, harvest timber or mine for coal.

oh, scratch that coal thing, that’s been shut down.

So will minority neighborhoods be investigated also and sued for not having enough Caucasians?

Jammie, if I had an award I would give it to you.

When will the feds investigate the lack of diversity among NFL corner-backs, convenience store owners, and yacht racers?

Only racism could have caused such tragedies.

It’s not the zip code, it’s the loud/annoying/irresponsible/dangerous/criminal people living in that zip code. But no, we can’t focus on dealing with them!
