Obama’s Propaganda Minister: Dear Leader Focused on the Economy, Not All His “Phony Scandals”

Geez, this is pathetic even for Jay Carney. Pretend scandals? Really? We bet the family of those murdered in Benghazi or those targeted by Obama’s IRS think they’re phony scandals.

White House press secretary Jay Carney on Wednesday defended President Obama’s planned pivot to economic issues, arguing it was time to shift the discussion in Washington “beyond the phony scandals that have consumed so much attention here.”

“He’s focused on the economy,” said Carney on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “He’s not focused on pretend scandals.”

We guess all those so-called pretend scandals are having an effect on his plunging approval ratings. Scarborough, for his part, wasn’t buying this nonsense.

When on today’s Morning Joe, Obama spokesman Jay Carney had the chutzpah to call the IRS mess a “phony scandal,”Joe Scarborough ripped into him, calling Carney out for using “talking points,” instructing him to “answer the question” and informing Carney that “I’m not somebody you talk down to from your podium.” Ouch!

Meanwhile, who’s up for another phony scandal?

Romney said he would have focused on the economy, but wouldn’t he have also given the out going administration a presidential pardon? If so, the last six months of scandals may not have come to light if Romney had won. Any other thoughts about the presidential pardoning of the previous administration?
