Eh, probably just one of those disgruntled teabaggers.
A deranged man tried to kill himself outside of the Rockefeller Center studios of NBC’s “Today” show this morning, authorities said.
Queens resident Tak Chong Mar cut himself about 7:50 a.m., and was transported to Bellevue Hospital, police sources said.
A “Today” show tweet said the man, believed to be in his fifties, used a knife to harm himself, but witnesses said his weapon was a box cutter.
Video taken outside “Today” studios showed a man staggering behind a partition. He was tackled by a “Today” security guard and brought under control by Mace, witnesses said.
“I saw him take slice after slice. I saw the blood gushing,” said witness Kellie Ostransky, in town to celebrate her birthday with her twin sister.
“The first thing I thought about was that soldier in London, and I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is happening.’ ”
Just before cutting himself, Mar screamed, “the IRS is watching me,” complained about the agency’s treatment of him and handed out flyers, said Ostransky’s twin sister Kimberlee Sangiovanni, 40.
