Obama: ‘I don’t have much patience for people who deny climate change’

We don’t have much patience for people who promote junk science, leave Americans to die in Benghazi, sic the IRS on innocent Americans and those who spy on journalists.  But hey, we’re weird like that.

But Obama then suggested he’d draw the line at “climate change” deniers. “If I’ve got somebody who has a different approach to dealing with climate change — I don’t have much patience for people who deny climate change, but if you’ve got creative approaches, market-based approaches, tell me about them.  If you think I’m doing it the wrong way, let me know. I’m happy to work with you,” said Obama.

Since Obama only gets his information from the media, it’s a surprise he missed this news.

Since 1998, there has been an unexplained “standstill” in the heating of the Earth’s atmosphere.

Writing in Nature Geoscience, the researchers say this will reduce predicted warming in the coming decades.

But long-term, the expected temperature rises will not alter significantly.

The slowdown in the expected rate of global warming has been studied for several years now. Earlier this year, the UK Met Office lowered their five-year temperature forecast.

But this new paper gives the clearest picture yet of how any slowdown is likely to affect temperatures in both the short-term and long-term.

So, um, who’s the so-called denier here?

You know, Obama’s words and $10 will get you a $5 latte at Starbucks. (The extra $5 is a “tax” charged to anyone who’s stupid enough to believe anything Obama says – John Roberts.)
